Cardinals 10, Rockies 5

See what happens when the middle of the order does some damage?

To Joe’s astonishment, Windmill Grichuk had four hits batting in the sixth hole, to raise his brisk average to .239. The key here? Harrison Bader had three¬† hits, including an accident of a check-swing (looked like he was trying to protect himself) and the ball bounced into short right down the line for a double.

Middle of the order hitting, or even from the seventh spot, has been missing much of the year. Bader being able to pick up Windmill is what the Cardinals have been missing to much of.

A sweep of the Rockies? Joe didn’t see that coming.
