It seems like the Cardinals may have found a sap to take Matt Adams off their hands.
Bob Nightengale of USA Today claims the Royals and Cardinals were in discussion to ship the overrated first baseman across the state.

Nightengale wasn’t exactly clear if, with the acquisition of Peter O’Brien, if the talks with the Cardinals for Adams is dead or not.
This certainly shows and demonstrates, however, Adams is very much on the trading block.
How about Adams for a stack of Dixie Cups?
